The ZGC Forum-World Digital Sports Industry Forum Concludes Successfully

Recently, the 2023 ZGC Forum - Global Digital Sports Industry Forum, hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF), and the Zhongguancun Development Group, and co-organized by Digital Esports Asia (DEA), China Mobile Migu Culture, and Zhongguancun International Convention & Exhibition, concluded successfully.
The forum brought together leaders from international sports organizations, regulatory bodies, tech innovators, and industry partners. Discussions centered on the digital upgrade of sports and innovations in digital sports, focusing on topics such as esports, sports content, competitive sports, and sports scenarios. The event highlighted the integration of cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, big data, and 5G into traditional sports, fostering new applications and avenues in the digital sports industry.
The forum drew participation from numerous prominent domestic and international guests, including AESF President Kenneth Fok, Beijing Vice Mayor Sima Hong, East Asian Youth Games Organizing Committee Executive Director Buyandelger Peljee, and Digital Esports Asia CEO Don Chen.
Kenneth Fok emphasized that the AESF is committed to more than just organizing competitions. "Competitions are a key direction, but our focus is on bridging traditional sports with technology and digital innovation," he said. He outlined plans to globally promote digital sports, robotics, and VR technology, aiming to "influence the future trajectory of sports development through innovative ideas."
AESF Secretary General Sebastian Lau proposed the establishment of a World Digital Sports Alliance. Highlighting the rapid growth of the digital sports industry, he expressed hope that the alliance would unite ideas and contributions from various sectors to drive the global digital sports landscape forward. He extended a sincere invitation to global industry leaders, experts, and partners to join the alliance.
Digital Esports Asia CEO Don Chen remarked, "In the context of the digital economy, esports now carries more profound significance. The development of digital technology offers esports new innovative scenarios. As an important branch of esports, digital sports represent the convergence of sports, technology, and modern advancements."
