On October 4, the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Thailand Esports Federation (TeSF) at the Sports Authority of Thailand. During the event, they officially announced that the Asian Esports Games (AEG) will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 25 to December 3, 2024. AESF Director General Sebastian Lau attended the signing ceremony.

This year’s AEG will feature team competitions such as Arena of Valor and women’s events like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The tournament will bring together national and regional teams from AESF member associations, providing esports enthusiasts across Asia with a grand celebration of esports.
